The Sanderson C32DP is a full-length, 1-5/8″ primary tube header used in a variety of street rod applications. The C32DP is manufactured with a D-port flange for GM ZZ4, ZZ6, and LT-1 cylinder heads. There is ample spark plug clearance, and the C32DP header is compatible with original equipment and stock-style steering gearboxes, Vega, and most rack and pinion setups (if the steering shaft hugs the frame rail). Will fit most starters and transmissions except the cast iron Powerglide. Please review the “What is a D-Port” information tab.
- Designed with raised primary tubes to fit D-port, angle plug cylinder heads (GM ZZ4, ZZ6, 1990’s LT-1, etc).
- Pre-’68 engines must use a spin-off oil filter adapter and filter.
- 1968 and newer engines should use the AC PF12, PF25, or compatible short style oil filter for maximum clearance.
- Available for straight plug cylinder heads, part number C32
- Available for angle plug cylinder heads without the D-Port flange, part number C32AP
- For higher horsepower applications a 1-3/4″ primary tube version is available, part number C33DP.
Do Not Use a Sanderson D-port header on standard or d-shaped small block Chevy cylinder heads. Sealing issues may occur.
Includes all hardware necessary for installation.

Sanderson’s Ceramic Coating is recommended for every vehicle application and is the default finish selection choice above. To meet high standards of quality, Sanderson applies a multi-layer inside and outside aluminized ceramic coating in-house and then polishes the coating to a high luster. This aerospace and military-grade technology adds excellent protection to your headers while offering the benefit of thermal control in your engine bay. It also improves cylinder scavenging of exhaust gases and increases the longevity of your header investment.
