This Privacy Policy is organized in two parts: Part 1 describes our website, centuryperformance.com, and applies to visitors and customers of the website. Part 2 describes the Exhaust System IQ mobile application (the “App”) and applies to users of the App. If a provision in Part 1 conflicts with a provision in Part 2 for a matter specific to the App, Part 2 governs.
PART 1 — WEBSITE
This part of the Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or purchase from https://centuryperformance.com (the “Site”).
Personal Information We Collect
When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically collected information as “Device Information.”
Media
If you upload images to the Site, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the Site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string, to help detect spam.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available at automattic.com/privacy. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Embedded Content From Other Websites
Articles on the Site may include embedded content (e.g., videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves exactly the same way as if the visitor had visited the other website. These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
How We Collect Device Information
- “Cookies” are data files placed on your device or computer, often including an anonymous unique identifier. For more information about cookies and how to disable them, visit allaboutcookies.org.
- “Log files” track actions occurring on the Site and collect data, including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.
- “Web beacons,” “tags,” and “pixels” are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site.
Additionally, when you make or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, and payment information (including credit card number), email address, and phone number. We refer to this information as “Order Information.” When we refer to “Personal Information” in this Part 1, we mean both Device Information and Order Information.
How We Use Your Personal Information
We generally use Order Information to fulfill orders placed through the Site (including processing payment, arranging shipping, and providing invoices/confirmations), to communicate with you, to screen orders for potential risk or fraud, and to provide information or advertising about our products or services consistent with your preferences.
We use Device Information to help screen for potential risk and fraud, and more generally to improve and optimize the Site — for example, by generating analytics about how customers browse and interact with the Site, and assessing marketing and advertising campaigns.
Sharing Your Personal Information
We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use it as described above. For example, we use WordPress with WooCommerce to power our online store, and Google Analytics to help us understand how customers use the Site — see google.com/policies/privacy for how Google uses this information, and tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout to opt out.
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service. We may also share Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant, or other lawful request, or to otherwise protect our rights.
We use your Personal Information to provide targeted advertisements or marketing that may interest you. For more on how targeted advertising works, see the Network Advertising Initiative’s educational page at networkadvertising.org. You can opt out of targeted advertising through:

You can also opt out of some of these services via the Digital Advertising Alliance’s portal at optout.aboutads.info.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Our Site does not alter its data collection and use practices when it sees a legacy Do Not Track browser signal. However, where required by applicable state law, we honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) — a newer, more specific browser or extension-based signal that communicates a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If your browser or a browser extension sends a GPC signal, we will treat it as a valid opt-out request for this Site to the extent required by law.
U.S. State Privacy Rights
Depending on your state of residence, you may have rights under applicable U.S. state privacy laws (including, among others, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and Utah) with respect to the personal information we collect through the Site. These commonly include the right to:
- Know what personal information we have collected about you and why
- Access a copy of your personal information
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Delete personal information we hold about you, subject to certain exceptions
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, including for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising
- Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights
As described above, we share Device Information with services such as Google Analytics and use Facebook, Google, and Bing to deliver targeted advertising; depending on your state’s law, this activity may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. You can opt out of this by using the browser-level Global Privacy Control described above, by using the service-specific opt-out links listed earlier in this Part 1, or by contacting us directly using the information in the Contact Us section below.
To exercise any other right described above, please contact us using the information in the Contact Us section. We will respond within the time required by applicable law, and may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests.
Rights For Our European Customers
If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that it be corrected, updated, or deleted — contact us using the information below. We process your information to fulfill contracts we might have with you or to pursue the legitimate business interests described above. Your information may be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.
Data Retention
When you place an order through the Site, we maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete it. If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely so we can recognize and approve follow-up comments automatically. For registered users, we store the personal information in their user profile; users can see, edit, or delete this information at any time (except their username).
PART 2 — MOBILE APP (EXHAUST SYSTEM IQ)
This part of the Privacy Policy describes how Century Performance Center, Inc. handles information in connection with the Exhaust System IQ mobile application (the “App”). We built this App to help users calculate recommended exhaust component sizing, and designed it to collect as little information as possible to do that. The App is a separate product from the website described in Part 1, and operates independently of it — using the App does not require visiting or purchasing from the website.
Information We Do Not Collect
The App does not require you to create an account, and does not collect, transmit, or store any of the following:
- Your name, email address, or other contact information
- Your precise or approximate location
- Device identifiers used for advertising or cross-app tracking
- Usage analytics, behavioral data, or crash reports sent to us or to third parties
The calculator inputs you enter (such as horsepower, displacement, or RPM) are processed entirely on your device and are not transmitted to us or to any third party unless you affirmatively choose to share them, as described below.
Information Stored Locally On Your Device
The App stores a small amount of preference data locally on your device, using standard platform storage. This data is never transmitted off your device and is not accessible to us. It includes:
- Whether you have dismissed the introductory tutorial screen
- Your selected color theme and text size preference
- Your Free or Pro tier status
- Up to 5 saved calculator setups (Pro feature) — each setup stores every input field you’ve entered under a name you choose, so you can return to a full combo later without re-entering it
- Your current calculator inputs, so the App can silently restore exactly where you left off the next time you open it, even if you never explicitly saved a named setup — available regardless of Free or Pro tier
You can reset or clear this data at any time using the in-app controls provided, or by uninstalling the App. Saved Setups can also be deleted individually, one at a time, without clearing everything else.
Information You Choose to Share
The App includes optional “Share Results” and “Support Ticket” features. Neither sends information to us or a third party automatically. Instead, they open your device’s own email application, messaging application, or a third-party platform with a pre-filled message, which you may edit, send, or discard at your discretion. If you send that message, its content is handled according to the privacy practices of the service you selected, not this Policy.
If you use the “Support Ticket” feature and send the resulting email, our customer support team will receive it, and a support ticket will be created. That email may include the calculator inputs and results you had entered at the time, so that our support team has context for your question. We retain support communications for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to and document your inquiry.
Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the App does not collect personal information from any user in the ordinary course of operation, this risk is limited by design.
Pro Upgrade and Payment Information
If you purchase the App’s Pro upgrade, that one-time transaction is processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play), depending on your device. We do not receive, process, or store your payment card information. Apple’s and Google’s own privacy policies govern the handling of your payment information for these transactions.
Third-Party Services
The App does not currently integrate third-party analytics or advertising software development kits (SDKs). If this changes in the future — for example, if we add advertising, crash reporting, or analytics services — we will update this Policy to describe what is collected, by whom, and for what purpose, before that change takes effect, and will update the App’s privacy disclosures on the App Store and Google Play accordingly.
Data Retention
Because the App does not collect personal information in the ordinary course of use, there is generally no personal data for us to retain. Information you voluntarily send us through the Support Ticket feature is retained as described above.
GENERAL PROVISIONS
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. Material changes will be reflected in an updated “Last Updated” date, and for the App, may also be noted with an in-app notification.
