The Sanderson CC55-158 header set fits 1955-57 Chevy car applications with small block Chevy engines. The CC55-158 features a 1-5/8″ primary tube diameter and is compatible with straight plug cylinder heads, stock or 605 steering gears, and stock front or side motor mounts. The passenger side header exits rearward over the starter to provide adequate clearance at the idler arm. Please review the “Vortec-Style Heads” and “What is a D-Port?” information tabs.
A smaller, 1-1/2″ primary tube version is available. Part #CC55. For angle plug or D-port cylinder heads, use part #CC55AP or CC55AP-158. (The included video shows the CC55AP header set on a 1955 Chevy Bel Air)
