The Sanderson CC16 header set fits 1967-69 Camaro and Firebird, and 1968-72 Nova applications using small block Chevrolet engines.
The CC16 fits applications using stock motor mounts and is compatible with both manual and automatic transmissions. The CC16 works on “most” GM-spec angle plug cylinder heads (ZZ4, LT1, ZZ6, 292, Bowtie, etc.). Compatible with some aftermarket rack and pinion steering setups too (see images)!
NOTE: Does NOT clear factory Air Conditioning on Camaro. The evaporator box on the firewall interferes with the header.
Product ID Note: Although some Sanderson dealers offer the CC16 as part #CC16AP, it does not fit all aftermarket angle plug cylinder heads. The standard CC16 and CC16AP are identical header sets. Only on D-Port cylinder head applications (ZZ4, ZZ6, etc.) is there a difference. On these applications, the CC16DP is manufactured using the proper D-port header flange and includes the “DP” suffix in the product SKU.
