The Sanderson CC10AP is a swept-back, shorty header with the collectors exiting along the angle of the firewall to fit 1964 and later Chevelle, El Camino, and pickup truck applications using the small block Chevy engine and an automatic transmission. The CC10AP header features a 1-1/2″ primary tube diameter with a 2-1/2″ collector and is designed with angle plug cylinder in mind. The use of short or header spark plugs is recommended for adequate clearance. Optional, larger 1-5/8″ primary tube diameter version, part #CC10AP-158, and for D-port cylinder heads use part #CC10DP (Please review “What is a D-Port” information tab) are also available.
The CC10AP header is also compatible with straight-plug cylinder heads, and we prefer it over part #CC10.
