Sanderson ZSP Copper Flange Adapters, Small Block Chevy

Sanderson ZSP Copper Flange Adapters are sometimes required on small-block Chevy engine applications using D-port cylinder heads. The need arises when using Sanderson’s large tube 1-7/8″ headers. This includes the Zoomie, CC178, JaysterSBC78, and similar header sets.

Determining whether the ZSP adapter is necessary depends on the amount of sealing area that exists around the port opening on the cylinder head.

Cylinder heads that may require this adapter include the GM Fast Burn, ZZ6, SP383, L98, and similar.
